My Approach
My approach to mental health is holistic in nature. As we go through life, our experiences shape us as well as our environment and the people we meet. Good mental health must encompass our life story – no matter how long or short – and take into consideration how we process events in our life.
Some of us detach, some get entangled and others stay in a defensive mode throughout life. My goal is to have each client find their find way back to the “self” they want to be. Oftentimes, life makes us put on masks just to survive. If we put on too many masks, we lose sight of who really are and what makes us happy. When we are happy within ourselves, we can let go of the masks and become more of who we are meant to be. When we choose to look deeper, we can usually find what caused us to behave in certain ways and what we need to accept about ourselves so we can change.
Change does not have to be difficult, it can be gentle and affirming, especially if we are awakening to our higher self and newer ways of being.
